Agoura Hills 3-Vehicle Crash Causes Major Injuries

 
AGOURA HILLS, CA (May 15, 2019) — A woman sustained major injuries in a 3-vehicle crash on Malibu Canyon Road Saturday afternoon. Callers reported the incident near Piuma Road at 5:52 p.m., as per the California Highway Patrol.
 
Witnesses said the crash involved a dark BMW, a black Volkswagen, and a gray SUV. Trapped inside a vehicle was at least one person involved in the accident. Airlifted was a female patient with a major head injury, while paramedics took at least two people to a hospital.
 
A SigAlert took effect at 6:14 p.m. This shut down all the lanes in both directions of Malibu Canyon Road, south of Piuma Road. Officials reopened the roadway at about 8:15 p.m.
