31-Year-Old William Yost Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 134 Freeway [Pasadena, CA]

Pasadena, CA (January 6, 2025) – 31-year-old William Yost was killed following a multi-vehicle crash on 134 Freeway Sunday morning.

It was around 8:10 a.m. when the fiery traffic collision happened on the westbound freeway at North San Rafael Avenue.

Troopers said a vehicle entered the freeway from the San Rafael Avenue off-ramp and traveled east in the westbound lanes.

According to the investigators, a white sedan, a silver minivan, and two other vehicles—at least one of which exploded into flames—were involved in the collision.

William Yost and another person were killed in the accident.

The paramedics rushed three people to a trauma center with injuries.

The traffic collision heavily impacted the Colorado Street Bridge and closed the westbound freeway at Orange Grove Boulevard. A Sigalert was issued for approximately four to eight hours.
