21-Year-Old Driver in Harris County Wrong-Way Accident on 3100 Block of US 90

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (March 19, 2023) – Thursday morning, authorities arrested William Trainor after a fatal crash on 3100 block of US 90.

The incident happened at about 2:15 a.m. in the 3100 block of US 90.

Moreover, the sheriff’s office confirmed that 52-year-old William Trainor drove a pickup truck the wrong way. Then, he crashed with a Kia Soul head-on.

Responders transported both drivers to the hospital by Life Flight.

After the crash, the Kia Soul driver succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, responders treated William Trainor for his minor injuries.

When the sheriff’s officers arrived, they confirmed that Trainor was intoxicated at the time of the collision.

His blood alcohol level was allegedly approximately 2.5 times the legal limit.

Thus, authorities charged Trainor with intoxication manslaughter for a wrong-way crash.

Furthermore, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division handles the crash investigation.
