SACRAMENTO, CA (January 8, 2022) – Friday afternoon, authorities arrested William Letson following a DUI crash on Interstate 80 near Reed Avenue.
According to the Sacramento California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on westbound Interstate 80, east of Reed Avenue.
Reports revealed William Letson in a westbound Acura RDX rear-ended a Toyota Prius driven by a 42-year-old Elk Grove man. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Prius towards the right shoulder. Then, it collided with a CHP SUV.
Meanwhile, the Acura RDX came into rest on westbound Interstate 80. Moments later, a 20-year-old woman driving an Acura TL struck the Acura RDX.
Moreover, officials confirmed that all patients, including a CHP officer, sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, authorities arrested 33-year-old William Letson on suspicion of DUI. Paramedics transported Letson to a hospital for treatment before being booked at Sacramento County Jail.
