4 Vehicles Involved in Evening Collision on 10 Freeway
WHITEWATER, CA (April 10, 2019) – Two people were injured following a multi-vehicle collision Wednesday evening, on 10 Freeway.
To begin, the collision happened around 9:33 p.m., on the westbound lanes of the highway. Dispatchers arrived to the area just east of Highway 62 soon after.
Reports indicate that a gray Ford Fusion, a gray Lexus and two other vehicles were involved. However, details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available.
The paramedics immediately took two injured patients to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The victims were reportedly suffering from moderate injuries as a result of the crash.
Due to the impact of the collision, the Lexus was found overturned upon officers arrival. Moreover, two of the involved vehicles were also towed away from the scene due to the extent of their damage.
Furthermore, all surrounding lanes were blocked off while crews worked to clean the wreckage. More details will eventually be released once available. No further information has been given at this time.
It is always important to drive safely and defensively whenever you’re behind the wheel. Use your turn signals and check your blind spot every time you change lanes or decide to pass a slower vehicle. Remember to watch for merging cars and always give them adequate space.
