Fatal Rollover Crash on 10 Freeway in Whitewater

 
WHITEWATER, CA (December 28, 2018) – At least one person was killed following a rollover crash Friday evening in Whitewater.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:32 p.m. along the eastbound lanes of 10 Freeway, just West of Highway 62.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle had spun out to the right shoulder and landed on its roof. Two other vehicles were seen in the area, unknown if they were involved in the crash.
 
A coroner was called to the scene and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Details surrounding the collision were not made clear in the reports and media releases. The incident remains under investigation.
