BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, TX (October 8, 2024) – Thursday night, 23-year-old Weston Walker died in a horrific pedestrian crash on FM 107 near Temple Street.

The incident occurred just after 8:00 p.m. on FM 107 near Temple Street in Bruceville-Eddy.

The Department of Public Safety confirmed that Walker from Waco died in the auto-pedestrian accident.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a Ford SUV was traveling west on FM 107 when it struck the victim, who troopers said was walking in the roadway.

DPS Sgt. Ryan Howard stated that the investigation is ongoing.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
