Building on Corner of Sunset Avenue and Cameron Avenue Hit by Empty Transit Bus
WEST COVINA, CA (January 24, 2018) – On Wednesday morning around 10 AM, an empty Foothill transit bus crashed into a building on Sunset Avenue.
The driver was headed eastbound on Cameron Avenue, when it turned onto Sunset Avenue and inexplicably crashed into the side of the building. There were no other passengers in the bus because it hadn’t started its service to the community for the day. The driver was the only occupant, and suffered unknown injuries.
Southbound lanes on Sunset Ave between Cameron Ave and West Covina Pkwy were closed by the West Covina Police Department for investigation. No other information has been released at this time.
