CR 230 Collision Kills Meadow ISD Senior Student
Meadow, TX (May 2, 2023) – At about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, 18-year-old Wes Woodard, a Meadow ISD senior student, died in a 2-vehicle collision on County Road 230.
DPS said that Woodard was heading to an FFA banquet on the day of the accident. He was eastbound on CR 230 westbound lane and a westbound vehicle veered left to prevent a collision. Woodard also tried to avoid the crash by swerving to his right, but the two vehicles crashed in the roadway.
Woodard lost his life in this accident while the other driver was transported to UMC in Lubbock with moderate injuries.
The FFA banquet was canceled, however, the gym remained open for community members to gather and provide each other support.
Moreover, here is a GoFundMe link to help with Woodard’s funeral expenses.
Our team of legal experts here at Sweet Lawyers would like to send our condolences to the family of Wes Woodard. Our hearts are with you through these trying times.
