Driver Dies in Castaic Traffic Crash

Castaic, CA (May 17, 2024) – A 54-year-old Washington man lost his life in a vehicle collision on Castaic Road Wednesday afternoon.

The authorities received the crash report past 2 p.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 5 north of Lake Hughes Road

Responding officers arrived past 2 p.m. and located the Chevrolet Cruz under the Interstate 5 highway with its driver ejected.

Immediately, the rescuers performed medical aid but the driver was declared deceased at the scene.

Moreover, the authorities stated that a 2006 Ford Superduty driven by a 63-year-old Newhall man was also involved in the collision, though, they did not say in what way.
