San Francisco, CA (January 12, 2023) On Tuesday evening, 64-year-old Wan Mei Tan died after a pedestrian accident on Valencia Street.

SFPD says that the vehicle-pedestrian collision happened at about 5:51 p.m. at the intersection with 16th Street.

Reports say that a vehicle turning left at the intersection fatally struck Tan.

Officials pronounced Tan at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and was not showing signs of impairment.

Authorities are investigating the fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision and have not released additional information at this time.
