Rollover Crash on Indio Boulevard and Van Buren Street Kills Vivian Lujano

Indio, CA (August 14, 2020) – A crash on Indio Boulevard and Van Buren Street involving a street-sweeping vehicle left Vivian Lujano dead on Thursday.

The fatal crash happened on august 13 at about 7:45 a.m. on Indio Boulevard and Van Buren Street intersection. Indio police spokesman Ben Guitron said the crash involved at least two vehicles.

The fatal victim identified as Vivian Lujano, 27, of Oceanside was driving a Honda sedan. Her husband and their 17-month-old child were occupants in the vehicle.

According to the report, the Honda rear-ended a street-sweeping vehicle which caused the Honda to rollover. The Honda then flipped and landed upside-down causing Lujano to be ejected.
