1 Dead in Spring Valley Crash on Jamacha Boulevard near San Diego Street

 
SPRING VALLEY, CA (September 1, 2021) – Monday night, a 53-year-old Vista man died in an auto accident on Jamacha Boulevard near San Diego Street.
 
The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. when a Nissan Versa driver traveled west. As the driver drove on Jamacha Boulevard near San Diego Street, he veered into an eastbound lane. Then, he struck a Toyota Corolla which ended up spinning out of control. Then, it crashed with a parked Honda Accord.
 
As a result, the impact ejected the Nissan driver onto the road. Then, the medical examiner declared him dead at the scene. His identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification. Meanwhile, the 63-year-old male Toyota driver from San Diego went to Scripps Mercy Hospital with major injuries.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t determined whether drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the crash.
