Violent 2-Vehicle Crash on I-80 Kills 3 Injures 1 [San Francisco, CA]

San Francisco, CA (February 16, 2024) On Thursday morning, 3 people lost their lives and a person suffered major injuries after a 2-vehicle crash on I-80.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal collision happened around 4:14 am. on eastbound Interstate 80 west of Treasure Island.

Reports say that a Mini Cooper car, with 3 occupants, and a Toyota Tacoma truck, with one known occupant, were involved in the collision.

Officials say that the driver and rear passenger were ronounced dead at the scene, while the front passenger was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the Toyota driver was also taken to San Francisco General Hospital, the driver suffered major injuries.
