Vincent Aguilera Dead in Gilroy Hit-and-Run Accident on West Tenth Street

 
GILROY, CA (July 27, 2020) – On Sunday night, 60-year-old Vincent Aguilera died in a hit-and-run accident on West Tenth Street.
 
The authorities responded to reports of the fatal incident at 11:40 p.m. on West Tenth Street and Eigleberry Street.
 
Upon the arrival of the officers, firefighters, and paramedics, they located a 60-year-old pedestrian down on the scene.
 
According to reports, a westbound pickup truck on Tenth Street struck the victim and left the scene.
 
Responders airlifted the pedestrian to an area trauma center. However, he later died at the hospital. Shortly after his identity was revealed as Gilroy resident Vincent Aguilera.
 
Authorities urge anyone with information on the suspect of the vehicle to call Gilroy police at 408-846-0300. They can also contact the department’s anonymous tip line at 408-846-0330 and reference case No. 20-3338.
