VINA, CA (April 13, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle Saturday afternoon in Tehama County.
 
The incident was reported at 1:05 p.m. on southbound Highway 99, just a mile South of South Avenue off-ramp.
 
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but a body was found on the right shoulder with injuries appeared to have been struck by a vehicle.
 
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
There were no vehicles found in the area.
