Three Hospitalized after Three-Vehicle Collision near Mall Boulevard

VICTORVILLE, CA (November 13, 2018) – Three people were hospitalized early Tuesday evening following a multi-vehicle crash on Bear Valley Road. The identities of the victims were not disclosed to the public.

As per reports, the incident happened near Mall Boulevard, at about 5:57 PM. A deputy from the Victorville Police Department was in route to assist the Victor Valley College Police on a domestic violence call, with his emergency lights and siren activated.

As he approached the intersection, he collided with an oncoming GMC Sierra. The impact of the collision pushed the GMC into a 2010 Pontiac G6, which was traveling behind the pickup.

The driver and a juvenile passenger in the GMC were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the deputy suffered injuries to his arm and hand and was transported to a nearby hospital. Further updates on their current medical conditions were not immediately available.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision and to identify possible contributing factors.
