1 Killed and 3 Hurt in Phoenix Accident near 19th Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (August 1, 2020) – Wednesday night, Victoria Dukepoo died and three people sustained injuries in a crash near 19th Avenue.
Sgt. Mercedes Fortune with Phoenix police revealed that the incident happened on July 29th at 9:00 p.m. near 19th Avenue and Polk Street.
According to the police, the car traveled south on 19th Avenue. However, the driver lost control, went off the road, and struck a block wall.
When the firefighters came, they took three passengers inside the car to a hospital. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Victoria Dukepoo died at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
Furthermore, the police revealed that impairment didn’t play a role in the crash.
