32-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck Auto Collision on South Fairfax Road in Kern County

 
KERN COUNTY, CA (May 4, 2020) – Early Monday morning, a multi-vehicle accident on Bear Mountain Boulevard resulted in the death of Victor Cruz, of Bakersfield.
 
The three-vehicle crash occurred on South Fairfax Road around 5:15 a.m. According to news reports, a Lexus was driving at high speeds and failed to stop at the intersection. There, the Lexus was struck by another unidentified vehicle.
 
Towing services were later requested due to the extent of damage sustained. In addition, officials later pronounced Victor Cruz dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the CHP officers who responded to the crash scene reported that the intersection would remain closed for a small period of time.
