Deaths in California Pedestrian Accidents
As roadways continue to clear and taking walks outside rises in popularity, more pedestrians become vulnerable to traffic accidents.
Pedestrian accidents are incidents in which someone walking or crossing a road is injured by a vehicle striking them.
“Pedestrian accidents do not occur as much as motor vehicle accidents, but the pedestrian accidents tend to include more serious injuries,” says Tyler Toomey, a practicing attorney at Sweet Lawyers.
Furthermore, common locations for these pedestrian incidents include shopping center entrances and residential streets.
