VENTURA, CA – Woman Killed after Struck by Car on Highway 101 at Johnson Drive

Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 in Ventura

 
VENTURA, CA (March 6, 2019) – A woman was killed after being struck by a car Wednesday evening on Highway 101 in Ventura.
 
The fatal incident happened around 8:48 p.m. along the northbound lanes of Highway 101 at Johnson Drive.
 
A witness told officers that the victim was on the bridge and seemed distraught, when she was hit by a white Toyota sedan.
 
A coroner was called to the scene and confirmed the fatality of the incident. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending next of kin notification.
 
The Toyota pulled over and cooperated with the investigation.
