Injuries Reported in Bakersfield Auto Accident on Highway 58 and Highway 223
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 28, 2023) – Monday morning, a 9-year-old child suffered injuries in a vehicle wreck on Highway 58 and Highway 223.
The incident occurred just after 5:30 a.m. on Highway 58 and Highway 223.
According to CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, a vehicle went down an embankment. Then, it overturned several times before it came to a stop.
Meanwhile, officers confirmed that three people occupied the vehicle during the incident. Two of them suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile, a 9-year-old child was taken to Kern Medical.
At this time, the child’s condition remained unknown.
Also, the incident temporarily closed the second lane as crews worked at the scene.
