Everett Man Arrested for Vehicle Theft and Hit-And-Run Crashes on 48th Avenue in Lynwood Seattle

 
Seattle, WA (September 18, 2020) – Thursday morning, a 28-year-old Everett man was arrested after he allegedly stole a truck then crashed into four occupied vehicles, which started on 48th Avenue in Lynnwood.
 
Reports were received of a vehicle theft incident at about 10 a.m. on September 17. Shortly after, additional callers reported three hit-and-run crashes in which the stolen truck crashed into occupied vehicles.
 
Moreover, the suspect hit a fourth occupied vehicle on Highway 99 and then drive off. It is still unspecified if there were injured to those involved.
 
The suspect continued driving recklessly, then passing 236th Street and Highway 99, then heading south on Highway 99, running several red lights before losing a tire in the 11800 block of Highway 99.
 
More so, the suspect intentionally swerved the stolen truck and rammed a deputy’s patrol vehicle parked on the side of the highway. The suspect was then taken into custody at the scene of the crash.
 
He is expected to be booked into jail on suspicion of vehicle theft, eluding, vehicular assault, and four occupied hit-and-run counts. He is also being processed for suspicion of DUI.
 
The investigation continues.
