Vehicle Crashes into Apartment Complex on Gulf Avenue [Wilmington, CA]

WILMINGTON, CA (January 19, 2019) – A vehicle crashed into an apartment complex, which caused serious damages Saturday afternoon.
 
Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Police Department said the crash was reported at 1:10 PM at 1043 North Gulf Avenue. Authorities stated the vehicle crashed into the kitchen area of the apartment building.
 
The Los Angeles Fire Department Urban Search and Rescue unit conducted an evaluation of the damages to determine if any action was necessary. Los Angeles City Building and Safety inspector came out to assure all parts of the building were safe. Thankfully there were no injuries reported.
 
There has been no further information released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time.
