Violent Vehicle Crash on Oakland Way Kills 14-Year-Old Boy [Chino Hills, CA]

Chino Hills, CA (April 11, 2025) On Saturday, 2 boys were hurt and in a vehicle crash on Oakland Way that lead to the death of a 14-year-old boy.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the deadly accident happened around 5:30 p.m. near Rock Springs Drive and Oakland Way.

Reports say that a 14-year-old boy died days after he and another teen crashed while riding an electric bicycle in Chino Hills.

The crash occurred both boys were riding the same e-bike without wearing the required helmets for their age.

One teen suffered minor injuries and received treatment at the scene. The other sustained serious injuries and was transported to Pomona Valley Medical Center. He later died from his injuries, though officials did not disclose the exact nature of the injuries or the time of death.
