Vanessa Gonzalez Dies in State Route 210 Auto Crash

 
Redlands, CA (May 8, 2020)– On Friday night, a 31-year-old Vanessa Gonzalez, resident of San Bernardino, died in an auto crash in the eastbound State Route 210 near Pioneer Avenue.
 
California Highway Patrol and Cal Fire personnel responded upon receiving crash reports at around 10:43 p.m. on May 8. Officers then located one vehicle on the scene.
 
According to initial reports, the vehicle was traveling to eastbound State Route 210 near Pioneer Avenue when it crashed. Officers confirm it is a single-vehicle accident. However, what leads to this fatal crash remains unspecified.
 
Due to the extent of her injuries, Cal Fire personnel pronounced Gonzalez dead on the scene.
 
Moreover, CHP continues to investigate the incident and will release more information to the public once available.
 
Furthermore, officers closed the surrounding area during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened.
