1 Killed and 2 Injured in Rollover Crash near Jamboree Road
IRVINE, CA (September 23, 2018) – A woman was killed early Sunday evening and two others were hospitalized following a rollover crash near Jamboree Road. The deceased victim was later identified as 33-year-old Vaishali Bohara of Irvine.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, the incident took place at about 5:15 PM near the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Jamboree Road. A Mercedes Benz SUV collided with another vehicle and overturned as a result of the impact. Events that led to the crash were not immediately available to the public.
Bohara was in critical condition before she was pronounced dead at the trauma center. Meanwhile, her husband and child were rushed to the Orange County Global Medical Center with moderate injuries. Updates on their current medical conditions were not immediately released.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal crash and to identify possible contributing factors.
