VACAVILLE, CA – At Least 1 Dead in Lyon Road Crash Near Blue Mountain Drive

Deadly Two-Car Crash Reported in Vacaville

 
VACAVILLE, CA (November 21, 2018) – At least one person was killed late Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on Lyon Road near Blue Mountain Drive.
 
According to the officials with the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened in an unincorporated area of Solano County adjacent to the 80 Freeway.
 
A silver BMW and a red Kia sedan were involved in the crash, according to CHP traffic incident logs. A CHP helicopter was dispatched to airlift at least one patient from the scene and a coroner van arrived shortly before 6:45 p.m. It was unclear how the incident happened or how many people were injured and killed.
 
The Fairfield Police Department arrived and closed off Lyon Road at Hilborn Road due to investigations. Authorities are diving in to learn more about the details and events leading to the crash
