US Highway 395 and Bartlett Avenue Crash Involving Sheriff’s Patrol Car Injures 2 People [Adelanto, CA]

2 People Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 395 and Bartlett Avenue

Adelanto, CA (September 18, 2021) – A two-vehicle crash on US Highway 395 and Bartlett Avenue involving a sheriff’s patrol car left two people hospitalized on Wednesday. 

The incident occurred on September 15 in the US Highway 395 and Bartlett Avenue intersection at about 8:31 p.m.

The investigation revealed that the patrol vehicle was traveling east on Bartlett Avenue approaching Highway 395 with lights and sirens. According to the report, the vehicle was responding to a priority call. Then, a gray Honda Accord was traveling north on US Highway 395 approaching Bartlett Avenue when the two vehicles crashed. 

Due to the impact of the collision, both drivers sustained minor to moderate injuries. Emergency personnel transported them to a hospital for treatments. Later, officers said that the two drivers were released from the hospital and are recovering.

Multi-Vehicle Collision in Adelanto

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Regional Major Accident Investigative Team (M.A.I.T) is investigating the incident. 

Furthermore, preliminary duties and investigation prompted the closure of the intersection for approximately six hours. However, it has since been reopened.
