US 50 Two-Vehicle Collision Kills Francis Fields of Ely [Eureka, NV]

Ford Driver Dies in Eureka Traffic Collision

Eureka, NV (August 18, 2022) – On July 31, 74-year-old Francis Fields of Ely, died in a two-vehicle collision on US 50.

The authorities who responded to the Eureka traffic collision say that a westbound blue Mazda CX-5 and an eastbound gold Ford Fusion crashed when the Mazda driver attempted to pass a slower-moving commercial vehicle.

Due to the collision, the Mazda swerved to the right and drive off the roadway before it overturned.

On the other hand, the Ford Fusion driven by Fields swerved to the left and drove off the left side of the road. 

Unfortunately, Francis Fields of Ely lost his life at the crash scene.

The paramedics treated the Mazda driver for minor injuries. Luckily, the Mazda’s passenger was not hurt in the collision.
