Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Auburn Accident on Foresthill Bridge

 
AUBURN, CA (May 18, 2020) – Early Saturday afternoon, an unidentified bicycle rider sustained serious injuries in a crash on Foresthill Bridge.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 12:54 p.m. on the east end of the Foresthill Bridge.
 
The CHP added that the bicyclist collided with a gray Honda sedan for unknown reasons. Due to a lack of details, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear.
 
When the firefighters arrived at the crash scene, they located the victim who was having trouble breathing. The impact of the collision left the bicycle rider with severe injuries. The responders then transported the injured victim to the hospital for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities are continuously investigating the crash on Foresthill Bridge.
