U.S. Postal Service Truck Involved in Hit-and-Run Collision near 37th Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 27, 2020) – A U.S. Postal Service truck driver was critical after a crash on 110 Freeway southbound in Exposition Park on Monday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near 37th Street at approximately 8:31 PM.
 
Reports showed that a red Audi was traveling at a high speed hit the trailer of the truck hauling mail. The truck driver then lost control, careened off the side of the freeway, and crashed onto the roadway below. Two people inside the red vehicle fled the scene on foot.
 
The driver of the truck, believed to be approximately 50 years old, was transported to a nearby trauma center. He was listed in a critical condition.
 
Police are now looking for the two hit-and-run motorists.
