Margaret Sertuche and Passenger Injured in Fatal Solo-Vehicle Crash on University Avenue
Lubbock, TX (May 3, 2023) On Sunday morning, 38-year-old Tyrell Miller died in a rollover crash on South Loop 289.
Authorities say that the fatal solo-vehicle crash happened around 4:30 a.m. on the South Loop near University Avenue.
Reports say that a westbound Chevy Tahoe left the roadway and crashed into a guardrail, the impact of the crash caused the Chevy to roll over.
Officials say that the Chevy’s driver, identified as 40-year-old Margaret Sertuche and another passenger sustained injuries and were transported to UMC.
Meanwhile, Miller was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say that Miller and the other passenger were both ejected from the Chevy.
Police are investigating the fatal solo-vehicle crash and have not released additional details at this time.
