Tyraira La Shun Joseph Arrested After Suspected DUI Hit-and-Run Crash on E. Charleston Avenue and Bruce Street
Las Vegas, NV (June 25, 2020)– A fatal hit-and-run crash on E. Charleston Avenue and Bruce Street leads to arrest of Tyraira La Shun Joseph on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old Tyraira La Shun Joseph awaits for applicable charges following an alleged DUI hit-and-run crash that ends with one fatality.
The deadly crash took place on June 23 at about 4:15 a.m. in the 1700 block of E. Charleston Avenue and Bruce Street.
According to the report, Joseph was heading north through the parking lot. However, she was unable to pull into the marked parking spot and continued traveling onto the roadway.
As a result, Joseph hit a pedestrian who was sitting there at that moment.
Furthermore, Joseph continued driving and left the injured woman. Police officers caught her just shortly after that.
According to the preliminary investigation, Joseph showed signs of impairment. Thus, Joseph was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
The currently unidentified pedestrian was brought to University Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
This death marked the 44th traffic-related death in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2020.
