4 Dead in Fresno Car Crash on Millerton Road

 
FRESNO, CA (March 16, 2020) – A head-on crash on Millerton Road killed four and injured two people on Friday morning in Fresno.
 
The incident occurred just before 2:00 a.m. near Millerton Road and Via Bellaggio.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Nissan pickup was traveling north up the hill when the driver drove across and into the wrong lane, colliding head-on with a Toyota.
 
The Nissan pickup driver Ty Wood Sr. and the Toyota backseat passengers were all declared dead at the scene. The Toyota passengers were identified as 74-year-old Mai Yang, 54-year-old Koua Vang Xiong, and 60-year-old Shor Xiong.
 

The Accident Aftermath

 
Medical responders flew the Toyota driver to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, an ambulance took the front passenger. The authorities confirmed the identities of the injured as 60-year-old James Vang and 50-year-old Nao Y. Moua.
 
Authorities closed the roads near the area for five hours during the crash investigation. Meanwhile, they also ruled out alcohol or drugs as a factor in the collision.
