Two Sustained Injuries in Santa Maria Rollover Accident

SANTA MARIA, CA (January 14, 2019) – Injuries were reported after an SUV left the roadway and rolled over on Harris Grade Road on Wednesday, January 9.

Fire Department spokesman Mike Eliason said that emergency personnel responded to the collision just after 3:15 p.m. to Harris Grade Road just south of Highway 135.

The accident involved a Ford Expedition with eight occupants. Two women in the vehicle suffered minor injuries, while six children — all under the age of 6 — appeared to be unharmed.

As a precaution, all the occupants of the vehicle were rushed by AMR ambulance to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria for medical treatment and examination, Eliason stated.

The incident was under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
