LOS GATOS, CA (May 26, 2019) – Two poles were down in a crash on southbound Highway 17, Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 12:47 AM, just north of the Eastmoor Avenue on-ramp. Based on an initial report, a white Ford F-150 was reckless driving before it struck a pole. The pickup truck was involved the incident.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They reported injuries sustained by the involved motorists. In addition, they also reported that the victims refused transport to the hospital.
 
Due to the downed poles, the traffic in both lanes were closed. Towing services were requested for a clearing and cleaning operations in the area. An investigation is ongoing to verify the cause of the accident.
