2 Hospitalized after Rear-End Collision near Business Park Drive

 
ROHNERT PARK, CA (December 6, 2018) – On Thursday afternoon, two people were injured in a rollover accident on Redwood Drive. The identities of the victims have not yet been released to the public.
 
According to officials, the collision took place around 4:00 PM near Business Park Drive. Police officers and firefighters arrived at the scene, after receiving multiple calls about the crash.
 
As per reports, the victims were stopped at the intersection when they were rear-ended by a second car. Due to the impact of the collision, the vehicle overturned, trapping the two occupants inside. They had to be extricated by emergency responders, and were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
 
Their current medical conditions are unclear at this time. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
 
Southbound Redwood was closed for sometime after the accident, while clearing operations and preliminary investigation took place in the area. No further details have been disclosed, as the investigation continues.
