4th Street Three-Vehicle Collision Resulted in Injuries
Fresno, CA (June 29, 2022) – On Tuesday, before 9 p.m., two people sustained injuries in a DUI crash on Tulare Avenue.
The traffic accident happened in the area of 4th Street.
A traffic officer made contact with two people who were in a parked vehicle in front of the patrol unit after a traffic stop.
Suddenly, an eastbound vehicle rear-ended the officer’s patrol unit.
The impact of the collision made the patrol unit rear-end the vehicle in front of it.
Luckily, the traffic officer did not sustain injuries from the collision. They were standing outside the vehicle when the incident took place.
The people inside the vehicle that was rear-ended sustained injuries. Immediately, the paramedics took them to the hospital.
Moreover, officers say that the 36-year-old female driver of the vehicle that rear-ended the patrol unit was driving under the influence. She did not sustain injuries from the 4th Street three-vehicle collision.
Reports say the authorities will cite her after a complete investigation. Apparently, she did not see the patrol vehicle in front of her
The perverse actions of a reckless driver can increase the likelihood of traffic collisions. If you are a driver, pay close attention to those around you. Always keep a considerable distance from others just in case harm is near.
Most importantly, we should never drink and drive.
