Two Drivers Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 99 at Cohasset Road

 
Chico, CA (May 11, 2020)– On Monday afternoon, two unidentified drivers sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 99 at Cohasset Road.
 
CHP responded upon receiving crash reports at around 3 p.m on May 11. Dispatched officers arrived and located two sprawled vehicles on the scene.
 
Reportedly, a man was driving a small pick-up truck and started sliding to the right. His car then over drifted and did a complete 180 – then crashed into another driver’s car on the northbound lane.
 
As a result, the two drivers were taken to the hospital for immediate treatment. However, the extent of their injuries and current condition is unknown. Their identities remain undisclosed.
 
Moreover, the cause of the collision is unclear but it was raining during the time. Further investigation revealed that the pick-up truck driver seemed to be driving a bit too fast and roads were slippery due to the rain.
