Stolen Vehicle Involved in Serious Collision near Erwin Street

 
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (February 11, 2020) – Two people were injured in a stolen car crash on North Tujunga Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Erwin Street at approximately 12:40 PM.
 
Reports from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division revealed that the victims traveled in a stolen car while being pursued by the police at the time of the accident.
 
When officers tried to pull the car over, the vehicle accelerated and crashed into a truck.
 
Officials extricated two of the three people inside the car, who were then hospitalized. First responders listed them in critical but stable condition. The police also sent the third victim to the hospital for unknown injuries.
 
The intersection was closed while police gathered evidence.
