One Seriously Injured on Curry Street Solo Vehicle Crash
Carson City, NV (August 13, 2020) – On Thursday evening, two people sustained injuries after a solo vehicle crash on Curry Street near Rhodes Street.
The crash was reported shortly after 6 p.m. on August 13. Dispatched officers located the vehicle and the three occupants.
Investigators say the crash happened from the west-facing hillside where the vehicle may have been off-roading.
Emergency crews found one person inside sustained serious injuries, still breathing but unconscious. The victim then transported from the scene by ambulance to the DMV off of Stewart Street where they were then flown to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno.
Moreover, responders say the location of the rollover is off Curry Street behind the Nevada State Railroad Museum. The vehicle was not blocking Curry.
Further investigation is ongoing.
