Two Injured in Cochran Street Fatal 2-Vehicle Crash [Simi Valley, CA]

Simi Valley, CA (April 1, 2023) – At about 8:14 p.m. on Thursday, a Mazda driver and passenger were injured in a Cochran Street fatal 2-vehicle crash.

Investigating officers said a Scion driver was westbound on Cochran Street when the vehicle swerved over the double yellow lines and collided with an eastbound Mazda.

Responding officers declared the Scion driver dead at the scene. The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office withheld the deceased’s identity pending notification of kin.

Moreover, the Mazda driver and passenger, both juvenile males, sustained minor injuries from the crash. One of them was transported to the hospital for treatment.
