Yuba Gap, CA (January 26, 2021) – On Friday, a man and a woman were injured in a big rig crash on Interstate 80 near Nyack Road.
 
The Yuba Gap accident took place before 9:45 a.m. on the westbound lanes of the highway.
 
Apparently, two vehicles already crashed before the said big rig incident, which caused minor damage.
 
Both the drivers of the two vehicles stopped on the side roadside and went out of their vehicles.
 
Then, a woman driving the third vehicle stopped and also stood on the roadway to see if the drivers of the two crashed vehicles were fine.
 
Then suddenly, a big rig that did not have chains came around a curve and was driving too fast.
 
The driver struck the brakes and jack-knifed. As a result, it struck multiple vehicles including two of the people standing on the roadside.
 
The female driver of the third vehicle incurred major but non-fatal injuries, while a man incurred moderate injuries.
 
Immediately, responders both of them to regional hospitals.
 
Furthermore, the big rig struck a total of six vehicles.
