Three People Killed in Fiery Multi-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 15
Las Vegas, NV (August 14, 2020) – On Thursday, two adults and a child died in a fiery multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 15.
The fatal incident happened at about 11:15 a.m. near the Spaghetti Bowl.
Travis Smaka said a small silver sedan traveling north suddenly cut through lanes. Then, it struck a pickup truck that was pulling an off-road vehicle.
The vehicles went over a wall, and the sedan got stuck underneath the truck as fire consume the wreck.
Smaka added it wasn’t clear what caused the flare, but the vehicles had also struck an electrical box.
Meanwhile, the off-road vehicle struck a Toyota 4Runner on the trailer.
Furthermore, authorities later found the three bodies and a dead small animal in the sedan. While two occupants in the burning pickup were able to scape the crash unharmed, as did the SUV driver.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident.
