Tucker Miles of Sulphur Springs Killed in FM 1844 Vehicle Collision [Gregg County, TX]

Gregg County, TX (May 4, 2023) – On Sunday evening, Tucker Miles, 27, of Sulphur Springs, was killed while two others were injured in an FM 1844 vehicle collision.

The authorities said Miles was eastbound on FM 1844 in a Mazda 6. At the same time, General Edwards, 54, of Longview, was southbound on Spur 502 in a Jeep Wrangler. 

The two vehicles crashed in the intersection and both drove into the traffic which was waiting at the stop light. 

Both of the vehicles collided with a stationary Honda Fit and Toyota Tacoma. The Honda’s driver did not sustain injuries in the collision while the passenger, Timeka Thomas, was treated and later released. 

The Toyota’s driver also did not sustain injuries from the accident.

However, Miles was declared dead at the scene, and Edwards was treated for and later released.

In the meantime, the authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
