1 Killed in Tacoma Motorcycle Crash near Pacific Avenue

 
TACOMA, WA (May 27, 2020) – Late Tuesday morning, a truck and motorcycle accident near Pacific Avenue killed a person.
 
The police revealed that the crash occurred at about 10:00 a.m. near Pacific Avenue and S. 27th Street.
 
Despite limited information, the officers confirmed that the crash resulted in a fatality. However, the name of the victim wasn’t released.
 
The crash shut down the intersection for multiple hours as officers investigate at the scene. The roads have since reopened.
 
Meanwhile, traffic safety officials expressed their worries about the rise of fatal accidents that involves motorcycles.

According to reports, with 92 fatalities in 2019, it had the most biker deaths in Washington since 1982. The officials added that 2020 may be far worse because last year, during this time, there were only 13 deaths. However, Washington already recorded 20 deaths this year.
