Trooper Hurt in Bellevue Police Chase Crash on 90 Freeway

 
BELLEVUE, WA (July 18, 2019) – A Washington state trooper suffered an injury following a police chase accident on 90 Freeway near 150th Avenue Southeast Wednesday.
 
According to news reports, the crash occurred on the westbound side of the freeway around 12:30 a.m. Under unknown circumstances, two state troopers collided as they tried to stop the suspect vehicle.
 
Following the accident, three people inside the suspect vehicle were taken into custody, and authorities determined that the car had been stolen.
 
At least one of the troopers injured suffered minor injuries. However, the events leading to the crash are unclear at this time. In addition, police did not release any other information regarding the accident.
