Canyon County Trevor Calhoun Dead in Sierra Highway DUI Crash, Emily Dominguez Arrested

 
Acton, CA (March 25, 2021) – On Wednesday, authorities arrested 19-year-old Emily Dominguez of Santa Clarita in a fatal DUI crash on Sierra Highway.
 
The deadly crash occurred at about 7:45 p.m. north of Mountain Spring Road.
 
Dominguez was driving a Corolla that swerved onto the dirt shoulder and lost control. The vehicle crossed lanes. It was struck by a northbound Toyota MR2 on its passenger side.
 
As a result, the 19-year-old Corolla passenger, Trevor Calhoun, incurred fatal injuries.
 
On the other hand, Dominguez incurred minor injuries. Responders took her to a hospital and later arrested her for DUI.
 
Meanwhile, the MR2 driver, a 59-year-old Palmdale man, suffered minor injuries. He refused to be taken to a hospital by ambulance.
 
The officers said the deceased was from Canyon Country, and his family has kickstarted a GoFundMe to raise money for his memorial.
