Trennan Bearden and Sherry Randall Hurt in US 259 Fatal Crash [Nacogdoches County, TX]

Nacogdoches County, TX (May 23, 2023) On Friday, 18-year-old Trennan Bearden and 71-year-old Sherry Randall were injured in a fatal crash on US Highway 259.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), 18-year-old Lance Modisette died in a high-speed vehicle collision.

Reports say that Modisette was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro at high speed when it collided with a 2006 Toyota Avalon, driven by Randall, then rolled several times. Afterward, a 2018 Ford Mustang hit debris from the initial collision.

Officials pronounced Lance Modisette, of Lufkin, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, Trennan Bearden a passenger on the Chevy, sustained injuries and was transported to Nacogdoches Medical Center.

Meanwhile, the 71-year-old Randall, from Nacogdoches, was also transported to Nacogdoches Medical Center and treated for her injuries. The Ford driver escaped injuries.
